A FOUR-TRACK EP by The Spinning Boy

COUNTRY-GOTH · ALTERNATIVE ROCK

AMERICAN LAUNCH — Los Angeles – DECEMBER 2026
IRISH LAUNCH — Carlow – APRIL 2027

WEST OF THE LAW.

An ancient landscape. Four songs. A gathering of musicians from either side of the Atlantic.

Slievemargy takes its name from Sliabh Mairge — the mountain of gloom — a place of ancient histories and dark beauty in the heart of Ireland, west of the River Barrow.

From the heart of Cóiced Laigen comes a new collection of songs by Marc-Ivan O’Gorman. Four tales of love, loss, longing and defiance, with a country-goth edge and the unmistakable pull of a place that refuses to be forgotten. Featuring an exceptional cast of musicians from Ireland and beyond, Slievemargy opens a new chapter for The Spinning Boy.

First, Los Angeles. Then, Carlow. Two launches, one record, and four songs ready to find their way into the world.

Rooted in Ireland. Made across continents.
