About
The Spinning Boy is the evolving music project of filmmaker and artist Marc-Ivan O’Gorman, built with collaborators from Ireland, the US and India. It draws on devotional song, noise and post-punk art rock, with eastern influences, an experimental attitude to technology and an improvisational approach to performance.
The Spinning Boy also has a long record of making music for images: the soundtrack to the feature Charlie Casanova, the art piece Être Belle (Being Beauteous), art films and TV commercials.
